About The Role
We’re looking for a Solutions Engineer to partner with our sales team and prospective customers on how Zoo can best address their use cases and technical requirements. We believe in a world full of modern software tools for hardware design that allow anyone to develop solutions on top of our infrastructure. You will be responsible for proactively pushing deals forward by overcoming technical objections and positioning Zoo solutions that align with customer objectives. You will ensure a successful transition to the post-sale stage of the customer lifecycle, and partner with customer teams and internal teams to drive adoption of new products by existing customers. You will be expected to have significant knowledge of the hardware design ecosystem, software development, and a deep understanding of how customers can best utilize Zoo’s products.
What You’ll Do
- Engage with Zoo customers and guarantee success of their specific use cases built on top of Zoo’s APIs
- Build highly interactive and engaging customer demonstrations in order to educate potential customers and share best practices on integration throughout the sales cycle
- Collect requirements, and provide guidance and best practices to apply Zoo products and technologies to achieve customers' business goals
- Partner with our team to translate prospect feedback into meaningful product insights
- Work closely with sales to jointly close new enterprise customers
- Guide new Zoo enterprise customers, helping them execute impactful proof-of-concept projects with a focus on revealing ROI-driven results
- Assist sales as the technical expert to close deeper commercial production deals after a proof-of-concept concludes
What You’ll Need
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Professional experience in a customer-facing engineering role
- Experience selling to large enterprise customers with a proven ability to gain a deep understanding of their requirements and processes in order to drive sales
- Strong engineering acumen with a proven ability to partner with highly technical teams
- Executive presence and engagement skills with an ability to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Nice to Have
- Background in mechanical and/or software engineering
- Familiarity with CAD
- Familiarity with Hubspot
The salary range for this role is provided below. The final offer will depend on multiple factors including candidate experience, skills, expertise, and market data.
